Step 1: Write 5 background and concept elements that you feel are important to your image of the character. These can be a concept overview, a list of important life events, a physical description, a personality profile…whatever you need to get an image in your mind. 5 is just a minimum…more elements are encouraged! Garosh’s never knew his father, and his mother was killed when he was still young. *Garosh was a bounty hunter before the Mourning, as luck would have it he was investigating a lead on his latest bounty in Korunda Gate when the catastrophe struck and so was saved from the chaos that ensued on the outside. *Garosh’s best friend and partner Balan was slain by his nemesis Orzof just prior to the Mourning which happened before Garosh could have his vengeance. *Garosh has adopted a very stoic lifestyle, not caring much for governments, gods, good, or evil. What happens happens and one must learn to accept that. The soul exception to his rule of thumb comes when dealing with his nemesis Orzof which he knows he must confront and kill one day. *Garosh joined the fifth legion to hone his skills and keep them sharp for the eventual conflict with Orzof but has grown to enjoy the company. Finally having something resembling a family, however dysfunctional.
Step 2: List at least two goals for the character. At least one of these goals should be one that the character has, while another should be one that you, as a player, want to see developed over the course of the game. *Confront Orzof Bloodgrind and ultimately defeat him.

Step 3: Secret Stuff!
Step 4: Describe at least three people that are tied to the character. Two of them are friendly to the character, one is hostile. If you like, you can include an enemy of yours here as well, so I have an instant NPC nemesis to throw at you. *Balan Thorrn- Garosh’s teammate and comrade in bounty hunting. Bugbear fighter who’s favored weapon is a mighty morningstar. The Chewy to Garosh’s Han Solo. *Orzof Bloodgrind- Garosh’s bitter nemesis. A rival since Garosh’s first days of being a bounty hunter. What started out as a somewhat friendly competition between the two had escalated into a bloody feud as Orzof’s methods of dealing with marks and people in general had become increasingly more malicious and cruel as the years went on. Finally there came the breaking point between the two only a short time before the Mourning with the death of Balan at the hands of Orzof. Garosh only just escaped that encounter with his life and now vows to destroy Orzof and avenge Balan. Stormsoul genasi, prowess in swordplay as well as dark magic (possibly an avenger class worshipping an evil god?). *Izzith Gurgle- The go to guy for information. Izzith is a rather charismatic scamp, especially for a kua-toa. Readily supplying information on the comings and goings of many of the worlds more seedy undertakings Izzith dabbles in the black-market trade and was Garosh’s prime informant before the Mourning. Kua-Toa trader, think Watto from Starwars.
Step 5: Describe three memories that your character has. They don’t have to be elaborate, but they should provide some context and flavor. *Mother’s death at the hands of raiding bandits. Age 11. *Death of Balan at hands of Orzof. Age 19. *Great Mourning. Age 20.
